Docking and winter storage
We offer docking and winter storage services in two locations, Hernesaari and Lauttasaari.
Warm indoor storage in Hernesaari
The warm facilities in Hernesaari can only be accessed by Marine Center staff members and boat owners. The docking and winter storage service includes lifting the boat, washing the hull, transferring the boat to the hall, docking it on trestles and, in the spring, transfer back to the water and launch.
Fenced, guarded storage area in Lauttasaari
The Lauttasaari dock area is fenced and guarded and can only be accessed by Marine Center staff members and boat owners. The service includes lifting the boat, washing the hull, docking on trestles, tarpaulin covers and, in the spring, uncovering and launch.
If external equipment is needed for lifting the boat, the consequent costs will be charged separately.
